Visconti Homo Sapiens is a line of writing instruments conceived for true writers, for those for whom the pen is still a traveling companion, a daily friend with whom to share that civilization that writing has contributed to create.

The material of the pen is as old as the world and with properties that make it unparalleled for the production of writing instruments: Etna Lava.

Visconti has managed to produce a material with over 50% pure Basalt Lava, catalyzing it with resin in a naturally secret and patented formula, with extraordinary properties and practically perfect for writing instruments.
For all the metal parts we were inspired by the Bronze Age, as the first sign of civilization, almost contemporary with the invention of writing.

The clip, rings and accessories with the sole exception of the plunger, are in bronze, natural like the ancient formula, it does not require protective treatments that change its original color, almost pink, it can be easily polished with products appropriate.

Lava di Visconti is:

Virtually unbreakable with a very high degree of resilience, i.e. the ability to absorb shocks.

Flame retardant and with a heat resistance of over 100 degrees centigrade.
