Pininfarina Space Pure Gray Pencil in Ethergraf Tip
Pininfarina SPACE is a writing instrument designed to be used in space. Entirely made of magnesium, an ultralight material that offers high mechanical performance, Pininfarina Space was donated to the crew of the International Space Station (ISS) during the last V.I.T.A. mission. The astronauts, including the Italian Paolo Nespoli, thus had the possibility to use it in microgravity conditions, where normal pens cannot write. The metal alloy with which the tip is forged, Ethergraf, writes by oxidation, without the need for graphite or ink, and is therefore the ideal solution for the environmental conditions in space stations, where the microdebris produced by the graphite of normal pencils are very dangerous for the filter system./p>
