Montblanc Patron of Art Homage to Victoria Limited Edition 4810 Fountain Pen

The Montblanc Patron of Art Edition in 2022 is dedicated to Queen Victoria and the Prince Albert. This edition is dedicated to Queen Victoria and marks the first years of the royal couple with a shell in pearl white lacquer, a symbol of purity and youth, and a cone embellished with a traditional Victorian motif in addition to "V&A", reflecting the way in which the couple liked to join their initials.

The hood is in mint green lacquer, one of her favorite colors to wear. The Victorian motif etched under the hood lacquer is inspired by the fence surrounding the Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens, London. The beautiful head is in the shape of a royal blue crown with the Montblanc emblem in precious resin. The words "I Will be Good" are engraved on the cap ring. The shape of the clip is inspired by her scepter with a green stone that refers to her Albert engagement ring. The handcrafted 18K solid gold nib, coated in champagne gold, is decorated with a rose in honor of Queen Victoria, still remembered today as "England's Rose".

As a homage to his personal coat of arms, the handcrafted solid Au 750 gold nib bears an embossing inspired by the coat of arms of Saxony. With signature gold and/or signature gold-coating, Montblanc describes the enlightened shade of yellow gold which has become an appreciated tone for the Maison’s Writing Instruments.
